Terms of Use

By using Digital Renovators, you hereby agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document.

1. Services
Digital Renovators offers website design, website development and website hosting. For additional elements, Digital Renovators will utilise the services of its sister companies within the Snowflake Media Group. These can include, but are not limited to, logo design, copywriting, graphic design, print services, SEO, social media marketing, video production, PPC marketing, lead generation.

2. Cost and Payment
For services up to and including the invoice value of £700, full payment must be made in advance before any work is undertaken. For services with an invoice value of £701 and above, a 50% deposit must be paid before any work is undertaken. The remaining 50% must be paid upon completion of the services. Websites will go live once final payment has been successfully made. All deposits are non-refundable. Digital Renovators reserves the right to ask for upfront payment if the total invoice value exceeds £700 and the project warrants an upfront payment.

3. Project Management
To allow Digital Renovators to work with speed and deliver best in class service, the Customer must adhere to the following:
3.1. Provide all content, images, wording (according to the brief) in one go. Any content submitted after submission may be charged at an additional rate depending on the content submitted.
3.2. All content and requirements must be sent to Digital Renovators using a secure platform such as Dropbox or WeTransfer
3.3. Content must be provided to Digital Renovators within 6 calendar weeks of the Customer paying their fee or deposit. Digital Renovators will proactively seek the content from the customer. However if the content has not been obtained within the 6 week period then a ‘re-start fee’ may be initiated at the rate of £100 (for services up to and including £499), and £200 (for services £500 and above).
3.4. The Customer must review and provide feedback on services provided by Digital Renovators within 7 working days (for services up to and including £499), and 14 working days (for services £500 and above).
3.5. Final changes and amendments must be submitted to Digital Renovators at least 7 working days in advance of launch date.
3.6. Digital Renovators will provide 2 sets of Revisions:
1st Revision: Digital Renovators will submit the initial draft for revision. The Customer must provide all revisions at this stage.
2nd Revision: Digital Renovators will supply the revised draft based on feedback received after Revision 1 stage.
If further revisions are required, these may be charged at an additional rate.

4. Project Termination
If in the event the Customer becomes unresponsive (despite Digital Renovators attempting communication with the Customer) for a period of 45 days, then the project will automatically be classed as ‘terminated’. If the Customer wishes to restart the project, then the ‘restart fee’ must be paid as stated in clause 3.3.

5. Termination of Agreement
This Agreement will automatically terminate when both Parties have performed all their obligation under the Agreement and all payments have been made.

Should there be a desire to terminate the agreement before the completion of the project, the Customer will notify Digital Renovators in writing, and pay for services already completed and for hours already worked.

6. Intellectual Property
The Customer will own the website and any visuals provided by the Digital Renovators.

The Client guarantees that they have legal rights to all elements of text, photographs, and anything else that they provide Digital Renovators with, and will not hold Digital Renovators responsible for any third-party claims.

Digital Renovators will guarantee that they have legal rights to all elements related to the services they are providing and will not hold the client responsible for any third-party claims.

7. Dispute Resolution
If either party accuses the other of being in breach of contract, the accused party will have 30 days to address the breach in writing.

8. Applicable Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
