Struggling to build your own website

Struggling To Build A Website By Yourself? Watch This!

Have You Ever Tried Building Your Own Website?

In this video, Digital Renovators Managing Director, Haroon Rashid talks about what to do if you’ve tried to build your own website using a platform like Squarespace, Wix or WordPress.

So you’ve tried to build your own website. But it doesn’t look quite right. You can’t get that look and feel that would truly want and it niggles you every time you look at it. In short, there’s nothing wrong with asking for help if you want to build your website. It’s more important that you have a website that you’re proud of. Don’t allow anything to stop you from achieving the website of your dreams.

More and more people are saying the same thing to me. “Haroon, I’ve tried to build a website by myself, but it just doesn’t look how I want it to look or it doesn’t do that thing that I’ve just really needed to do.” Now, if you’ve tried to build a website by yourself, that’s absolutely fantastic. And hats off to you for being so proactive in getting it done. And I guess trying to do a DIY job for a website is kind of like doing DIY at home. Whenever I’ve got to do DIY at home, I’ll give it a good go. But when I look at that thing, whether it be wallpapering or flooring or whatever, it doesn’t look exactly how I want it to look or it doesn’t do exactly what I needed to do. But it’ll do. But the problem with this is is that even though I’ve done it myself, there’s something that niggles me every single time I look at that thing. And every time I look at it, it upsets me. Now, this might be okay for a DIY setting at home, but this should not be the case for your website. Your website is your shopfront. It showcases your brand. That is something that you don’t want to feel bad about. Nothing should niggle you, whatever you look at, that thing, you should feel proud of it. So if you’ve tried to do the website by yourself, but something’s just niggling you, it doesn’t look right. There is no shame in going to somebody for help. I ask people to do things to me all the time. There’s no shame in it. I ask people to do my accounts. I asked people to do this, to do that. Um, to be honest, maybe next time there’s a DIY job. I’ll get an expert in to do it. So Hey. If you’ve got a website that you’ve tried to do by yourself, it’s not quite looking right and you want to stop feeling that little niggle every time you see it. Hey, give me a call. We’ll be great to speak to you.
